莱大病故女生葬礼已于27号举行

莱斯特大学化学系5月19号因病去世的中国的女博士生的葬礼，已于5月27号在莱斯特Gilroes墓地火化。

We have learnt, with regret, of the death of Jun Liu who was known to her family and friends as Echo. She died on 19 May aged 29 in Leicester Royal Infirmary after a relatively short illness.
Echo was a third-year international student from China and began her PhD research in the Department of Chemistry in 2007. The department were aware of Echo's illness. Throughout the past four months she has received extensive support from her boyfriend who is also a student in the Chemistry department.
Echo's funeral will take place at Gilroes Crematorium, Groby Road, Leicester LE3 9QG at 9am prompt on Friday 27th May 2011.
