11月17日：莱斯特圣诞点灯仪式和冬季美食节

圣诞节越来越近了～莱斯特的圣诞点灯仪式将于11月17日（周日）2.00pm – 5.00pm在市中心的Town Hall Square(有喷水池的那个小广场)举行，到时大街小巷的所有彩灯都会在倒数声中同时亮起，迎接圣诞。下午2：30有游街队伍，会有很多卡通圣诞人物冒出来，点灯是在下午4点30分. 喷泉旁的舞台也会有BBC Radio的娱乐节目和访问。每年点灯同时会飘雪哦～场面很温馨，去感受下英国的圣诞气氛吧～

另外，每年这个时候市政广场前都会布置成大家所熟悉童话故事的Winter wonderland，年年不同，往年有艾丽斯梦游仙境，还出现过Paddington Bear ，今年的会是谁呢？

同时，11月17日在Open Market还有冬季美食节，吃货们又有口福了，逛逛美食集市，又一起圣诞倒数点灯～Nice Weekend{:5_262:}

      2.45pm – 2.50pm    Procession on Humberstone Gate West, passing stage
      2.50pm – 3.20pm    The Mark Elliott Band
      3.25pm – 3.45pm    La Bella Ukulele
      3.30pm                      BBC Radio Leicester on stage (Jim Davis & Rupal Rajani)
      3.50pm – 4.15pm    The Simpletones
      4.15pm – 4.25pm    DMH pantomime characters
      4.25pm – 4.30pm    Lights countdown
      4.30pm – 5.00pm    Red Hot Santas

Camels and procession

      2.30pm                      Procession starts Town Hall Square
      3.15pm                      Procession ends in the Cultural Quarter
      3.15pm – 5.00pm    Camels in Halford Street (viewing area)

Other activity

      2.00pm – 5.00pm       Street arts across the city
      2.00pm – 5.00pm       Choirs across the city co-ordinated by BBC Radio Leicester
   From 4.30pm             Light the Night in the Cultural Quarter

今年倒数换地方了往年舞台都是在Town Hall Square的的。
现在市中心大屏幕拆掉了，今年是在Humberstone gate那里倒数的，不过觉得还是Town Hall Square那里温馨～ {:1_516:}
